The Michigan Collaborative Care Implementation Support Team (MCCIST) promotes the adoption of the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), a highly evidence-based model of integrated behavioral health care that treats behavioral health conditions.

MCCIST partners with health systems to provide individualized consultation and specialized training, ensuring the model is implemented with fidelity and produces successful patient and process outcomes.

Collaborative Care

Collaborative Care is a cost-effective, evidence-based integrated behavioral health care model.

This model uniquely uses monitoring from a behavioral health care manager and the expertise of a psychiatric consultant to meet patients’ behavioral health needs from the comfort of their primary care office.
