The Integrated Behavioral Health Learning Collaborative (IBHLC) is a cross-system group that is organized by IHA and Michigan Medicine. IBHLC is composed of psychiatrists, behavioral health care managers, associated collaborative care staff, primary care providers, and others who are interested in integrated behavioral health care. This group holds a monthly learning session on topics relevant to integrated behavioral health and collaborative care.
The group is co-chaired by Dr. Patricia Ryan (Psychiatry Medical Director for IHA’s Behavioral Health Collaborative Care Program) and Dr. D. Edward Deneke (Associate Medical Director for Adult Ambulatory Psychiatry at Michigan Medicine). The group is co-coordinated by Teague Simoncic, LMSW (IHA Collaborative Care) and Courtney Miller, LMSW (Michigan Medicine Psychiatry).
Meetings occur on the first Friday of each month from 3:30-4:30, and BlueJeans videoconferencing is often available for those who are joining from off-site. A separate meeting is held for behavioral health care managers on these days from 3:00-3:30; videoconferencing is not available for the care manager meeting. Please contact Courtney Miller, LMSW (coraymon@med.umich.edu) if you would like information on joining the IBHLC listserv and group.
